I check every time I am at a store but have not seen any in a long time. I have not shot much 22 the past few years so I still have a lot.

I have been considering getting a PCP air rifle for plinking but the cost and hassle of a tank is holding me off.

I have not seen it at 3 local Walmarts since April 2013. I don't make it to Cabela's too often.

There's plenty of 22 available. You can get it at almost pre-panic prices if you shop the big box stores often and regularly. Otherwise, it's always available, albeit at prices you don't happen to want to pay. Supply and demand.

Won't be in stock for long, but cabellas online has federal auto-match 325 count for $18.99 ($20.54 with tax added, free ship-to-store).
They limit to one box per day.

Again, these sound great but that makes it about 120 mile drive for me... sorry, isnt gonna happen after you cost in the fuel it is still cheaper for me to shoot .223 or 9mm.
That 22lr isn't available locally to me... I'm glad for some of you it is available at prices I still wouldn't pay.
As far as hitting stores regular and often.. that isn't gonna happen either. I work with drive time 65-75 hrs a week. I have no time for casually dropping by stores daily that involve driving to town and wasting 2 hrs just to check in.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.
So you want it to magically appear, at the stores you choose to go to when you want it there?
At prices that haven't really existed since the panic?
