Default Which VZ 1911 grips do I need for my 1911's?

I handled a RIA that came with VZ grips that the checkering was way too course for my taste. I wouldn't care to spend a long day at the range with them without wearing a shooting glove. I'd like a grip with the checkering close to the coarsness of the factory double diamond factory wood grips that came on my Colts and Rugers. I like the look of the black/wihite grips for my stainless Rugers. Not having the ablity to fondle befor ordering, I'd appreciate feed-back.

If you didn't have Girly Girl soft hands and worked with your hands to build up some Manly rough hands you wouldn't have to worry about getting sore hands when out shooting.

The VZs that come on RIAs are the "Operator" models, at least mine are. They are rated as aggressive on VZ's rating scale on their site.
Go to the VZ website and find the style of grips that you tried, look at the rating VZ gives them, then look at the other styles and their ratings. The 320's are rated as mild. Then pick a set that you think will work for you.

My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

I have both the Frag and Tactical Diamonds for my CZs. You may prefer the Frags as they do not have the aggressive checkering.

You could always sand the peaks of the grips down a little to ease the sharpness of it. Wear a mask or respirator.
If the Odds are equal, you're doing it wrong
