Seriously, get a good tent and it's not rocket surgery unless you're so incredibly non-mechanically inclined that yeah, you should stay at a hotel. No way you'll get a fire started.

I have 2 tents:
A small 2 man (1 big man like me, plus gear) tent that has 3 poles that can only be installed one way. You cannot eff this up. They simply won't fit if you do.

A bigger 6 person dome style. 4 poles, all the same length, and all install corner to corner. You cannot eff this up either.

Both were not cheap, but, hey, you do get you pay for sometimes.

I never needed an Advil while setting up a tent, but I usually do have a cold one in hand.

This seems like a solution looking for a problem to me. Might be a cool gadget, but not necessary.
