Default Recommend Steel rings under $100 for a 1000 yard rifle build

I could use some recommendations. I just bought myself a Vortex PST 6x24-50mm FFP ERB-1 optic to put on a modified Remington 700 in 300WM. I want this rifle to go to a 1000. Need good rings now. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Spuhr..

    Quit trying to cheap it.

If I could afford more than $100 rings then I would have bought a nightforce. I know good rings exist for that price. Heck, Ill just use the Trijicon rings from my Savage 11 if I have to.

seekins scope rings are tough to beat for the price but they're $150 retail.

You don't need steel rings, you're mounting a scope not a grenade launcher, its made of a thin aluminum tube.

Anyway, vortex has decent rings made by seekins, the Burris xtr rings are pretty decent, the list goes on and on.

The badgers that delfuego has for sale are real good too if the height is what you need.

Under $100, Burris XTR or Warne Optima would be my recommendation for new. If Delfuego's work for you, buy those.

Thanks guys, I think if I go for $125 I can get some really nice rings. I'm going to keep looking while I wait for the rifle to get threaded. I will buy the rings after I have the optic and rifle together. I want just the perfect hight.

I used the Warnes steel Maxima series on my 6.5x284. I liked them. Not the prettiest, but for $40 at Sportsmans, I couldn't go wrong! My smith also said for the price, they can't be beat.
