    Default Triple J Armory

Went by today so they could handle an out-going transfer for me. Nice group of guys, very friendly, easy to work with and they've got some nice stuff in the cases. Good to see that there's a few nice places on the south end of the Denver metro area.

    I'll be back.

Stopped there yesterday as well while getting some lunch. Good looking store and nice people. That said the prices on stuff are much to high for me to go back.

    Saw a 22 pistol priced over $100 more than I paid at Noah's shop. A Sub 2k for $650?

Seem like a decent group of guys but their pricing is way out of line. I can see a difference of $10-$50 between different stores pricing but it seems they are constantly $75+ higher than anyone around them.

I was working near there yesterday, so I stopped in to check them out and on the off chance to see if they had a couple of miscellaneous AR parts. They had them in stock.
If you are near there, and need that odd part, they may be the 7-11 for AR parts. Close & convenient with prices to match.

Stopped by while renewing my driver's license. Very nice guys, nice and new shop, happy to answer my questions.

    A couple thoughts:
-kind of expensive on a lot of things. But $20 FFL transfers, inclusive of CBI fee
-was told that their branded barrels were chromoly, "which is better than chrome lined, because it's mixed in" (No. Sorry.)
-was told that all of their assembled guns have a 1/4 MOA guarantee "If you can do your part..."
--was told that a sniper at Fort Carson has one, and shot a 3 inch group at 500 yards. "isn't that.. More than half MOA?"
--was told that this guarantee even applies to Wolf. "If you can do your part..."

Iunno, maybe they found the grail and have managed to trump Lothar-Walter and Larue on a rebranded barrel. As long as they back up the warranty, good on them. I just have doubts.

    Nice guys.

    Default Triple J Armory

    Plus side: $20 transfers

In a half hour, three of their "custom/ guntech rifles" came through the door with feeding issues. Tall claim to say that "I won't know quality until I try triple j armory."

I used to work behind the counter at a gun store. Never in my life have I been flagged that many times in less than 5 minutes by one guy. When I said, "excuse me" after being flagged for the ?? Time, I was told by said salesmen "it's ok, the guns empty."

While I was standing there, the salesmen, without asking, continued to handle and dry fire my weapon. While it's fine, it would be nice if he would ask before they finger fuck my gun.

I honestly won't be going back.

I don't think it's a big deal to dry fire a gun, not one little bit. But because someone else might think it is a big deal, I always ask first. Just seems like good etiquette.

"It's ok, the guns empty". Famous last words of someone who shouldn't be behind the counter at a gun shop.

"It's ok the guns empty" after being muzzled is kind of like someone saying "it's ok I don't have AIDS" after you catch someone in bed with your wife.
