I need a public (non-membership) range near Lakewood that has a 200 yard range just for a sight-in??

    Thanks!

Only one I have been too is the one up near hot sulphur springs. Real nice range up there. they have benchs, and target stands at 25, 100, and 200 yards.

Cherry Creek???? I think. Have no idea if they have a 200yd range there. I do know they run the range with Nazi zealous though.

Cherry Creek has a 50 and 100 yard rifle. They have been trying to get a 200 yarder put in but are gettign a lot of shit about the permit.

It's a decent enough range, and yes, they are very strict on range rules.
I see nothing wrong with that seeing how many people in the last year have purchased a fire arm and have no freaking clue on how to use it or anything else.

Why not just sight in at 50 yards, POI and POA should be the same at 50 and 200 if I'm remembering correctly (which explains my hold over for 100yards shots)? Just curious..

Sightin at 50 is when you can't sighin at 200 and is close, but it ain't the same as being dialed in at 200.

Closest you'll find is the in-door 100 yard range at Green Mountain Family Shooting Center at Wadsworth and Jewell.

If you're running a bolt gun and going for dope then yeah I'll buy that a 50yrd zero ain't gonna give you exactly a 200yrd zero.

Honestly your best bet is Pawnee

Nice range but the employees SUCK, went there a couple weeks ago and the jerk behind the counter picks my pistol up from the counter without asking (first mistake) instead of just picking it up, he drags it across the counter (second mistake) the sees it has a threaded barrel and says people only have those to make other think they have a suppressor (I do have a suppressor for it, third mistake) then looks at the thread protector and sees a little piece of lint on, when showing it to me he explains how he probably just save me from my gun exploding (last mistake).

With such dumb a$$es like that working there I didn't even fill out the paper work and just left.

Those jerks will NEVER see another penny of my money
