I thought I read somewhere that you cant shoot past dusk in the pawnee grasslands, but now I can't find it. Thinking it would be good to practice some shooting in lower light. Just shoot for about a half hour or so past sunset?

I can't say that I've heard of shooting restrictions based on time of day.. Obviously you need to be vigilant and practice safe shooting and know what your back stop is.
Maybe it was in the hunting booklet and was only for hunting. I i see on the Grasslands website is shoot 150 yards from road or house and use approved targets.
Gotta use the illuminated reticle on my scope! I paid extra for that!
That is what I saw last year when I was researching it as well. I've been out night shooting on the grasslands with my nods and IR lasers a couple times last summer. No one ever bothered me. I was using a good spot with a safe hillside backdrop. Also may have helped that everything I was shooting was canned.

Baker Draw is open "dawn to dusk" so you can probably shoot until it starts to get dark.
I cannot get the general shooting page to open right now.
maybe time for a twilight run! I got glow sticks in my stocking for Christmas I want to use!

I finally got the various FS pages to open, couldn't find anything about not be able to shoot at dusk or night.
The DOW / wardens (what ever they're called) folks hear shooting at dusk expect a visit and possible concerns you're poaching / hunting. YMMV.
IF the range is dawn to dusk one would bet it would apply to other areas of the grasslands. They also opened the range to minimize shooting in other areas. You run the risk of have that area closed off too. Your ricochet hits someones cow, better have a big checkbook.

I have no other hobbies or life aside from guns. So it balances out!
