None of Zaycon's farms have been affected, and you can't beat the price. Order now and stock up, in case this bout of bird flu limits options.
I bought a case for a pickup in aurora a few blocks from where I work. Excellent price!

I have a friend who is a turkey vet in management at a big vendor. He says the turkeys are at way more risk than the chickens. Sprouts sells breasts for 1.99 lb though.

I usually hit the turkey sales in November. Roast them all up, debone them, and can them. This year I got about 4 - 15 lb turkeys canned up.

I buried a lot of Eurasian Collared doves this winter/spring. They just seemed to fall out of our trees. Sprayed bleach around the trees, I read bird feces are the vector. This and having the flu twice in one season...

Well for the "shortage of birds & eggs. I've seen more EGGS 2 for $5. or safeways latest $0.99 per dozen. Some places are running BOGO.

We did order a case of cluckers from zaycon.

Latest news from trucker friend. USDA reports that overseas buyers of birds don't want any of our birds so they anticipate an overage and prices will drop.
He's done in Minnesota and back in North Dakota. May be going to Iowa next for bird murdering. next week.

They're not pheasant, and they are effectively choking out the mourning dove population.
DOW, or whatever their PC title is bow, removed all limits on collared doves.
They are cleared for eradication, with prejudice.
They're everywhere around my folks place in eastern Colorado.
