If you have a boat troll along the east side along the dams, if you're fishing from shore fish east shore line along the dams. I've always had better success at Pinewood Res along the inlet in a boat or off the shore. My son caught a 40" Tiger Musky out of Pinewood about 3yrs ago while we were fishing for Rainbows.
We use Rapala's with minnow patterns, Panther Martins with buck tails, Dare Devils and Castmaster spoons (sliver and gold).

I'll be fishing from shore. Thanks for the report and advice on tackle to use.

    I'll post up any results.

+1 for pinewood. Use a black fly on a bubble near the inlet this time of year. Especially if you see a black flying ant hatch. One of the best days fishing of my life occurred there.

… and rattlesnakes! I'm sure many of you are old enough to remember that the reservoir used to be called Rattlesnake. I don't know for a fact why the name was changed, but I imagine it was off-putting to the tourist trade. My family owned 1280 acres of land just past Rattlesnake starting back in the late 60's, early 70's. We've still got 80 acres and have seen all kinds of wildlife on the property.
