Better pic of the Ameriglo on my 43

One thing worth noting, that I never knew, because I've only had Ameriglo sights until recently. The Trijicon HD's seem to have an additional clear coating on the front site, whereas the Ameriglo does not. Kind of hard to explain unless you see them in person, but the HD seems like it would hold up better to solvents and what not.
Update. Range report.
Got the chance to take it out to the range today. Had it out once with the stock connector and was pressed for time and only put fifty rounds through it. Today was the first time I had it out since I installed the Ghost connector. Put 100 rounds through it. Most at seven and ten yards and then I was goofing around a bit at twenty-five yards.
Also put fifty rounds of 45 ACP through the Springfield XDS while I was there.
Here was the first magazine through the 43 at seven yards. Took my time and focused to see what it would do.
Then fired a second magazine.
And finally a third.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the 43.
Three magazines through the XDS at ten yards didn't go quite as well but I had never shot it before and the trigger is horrible.
By the time I was done playing with both handguns this was what the two targets looked like.
Seven yards.
Ten yards.
I'll give my 25 yard results in the next post.
My target supply is dwindling so used paper plates instead.
Here is what it looked like from my position.
Just shot standing up unsupported as normal and sent five rounds towards the plate. Actually managed to get four of the five on the plate. Barely. I assume one shot must have gone wide left.
Encouraged, I tried again with a fresh paper plate. Really took my time and focused on the fundamentals. Five out of five this time. Three of them were even pretty well centered.
Overall, I am very pleased with the little Glock and how it performs. If I was a more skilled pistol shooter I'm sure the results would be even more impressive.
I don't know, I'm pretty impressed by those groups. Well done.

Shows great fundamentals at 25 yards though, when you can put a group together without even being able to see your shots. When I do load development, I shoot off hand at 10 yards and my groups are twice as big as yours and I consider that "good." Again, well done.

Good shooting Ray! What range do you use?
