Well, I didn't get around to doing the belt clip yet but the holster part is done.

Oh, and one other update and bit of info. The 43 comes with the serrated trigger. I prefer a smooth trigger. While the trigger bar in the 43 is different than it's bigger cousins, the actual trigger itself is the same. So, the short version is I swapped the trigger out for a smooth one today.
Also, pretty much decided I am going to order a set of the Trijicon HD sights for it soon.
So, took the 43 out to the range today and ran a whopping fifty rounds through it due to time constraints. Here are my impressions if anyone is interested.
While handling the 43 at the house gives me the impression that it "feels" like most other Glocks, shooting it is a different experience.
First, I will mention that even though I didn't put as many rounds through it as I wanted to today, it was perfectly reliable and accuracy seemed good for a pistol of its size.
Like many people, if I don't pay attention to what I'm doing when shooting a Glock, my shots tend to go a bit to the left. This was even more pronounce with the 43. Most likely a lack of concentration on my part combined with a stiff factory trigger pull and the fact that I had never actually fired this particular model.
My normal grip is high and thumbs forward and I found that I would constantly ride the slide stop lever so it would never lock the slide back on the last shot. I don't have this issue with the full size Glocks.
I'd like to take it out again when I have time to really put some rounds through it.
At this point, I'm kind of thinking I might be better served with a 26 as I am really bothered by guns that allow my normal grip to interfere with the slide locking back on the last round. I know I can change my grip a bit to alleviate this but twenty plus years of shooting with the same style grip makes it really difficult for me to learn something new.
As far as actually firing the 43, it is very controllable, doesn't shift around in the hand, and comes back on target easily.
I'm sure I mentioned it before, but any of you are welcome to try it out if you'd like.
My Blade-Tech holster just arrived. Not quite as nice as their more expensive models but should work until I find something nicer or get mine finished.

Well I'm waiting for CBI on a new G43, yup I caved. Probably shoot it and the Shield side by side this afternoon. I'll report back with my initial impression.
