Anybody have any knowledge or expertise on these? I don't and I'm hoping for some help evaluating it, value, etc.

Another interesting website but the one posted above is excellent. Used it when I was researching a Enfield No 2 Mk I tanker version.

Key that I found for these is the proof stamps. British crown is typically stamped in multiple places, plus other symbols depending on whether it was shipped to an Armor, Artillery, Engineer outfit.
Do NOT shoot .45ACP out to that. I can't tell from the pics if the cylinder has been shaved to use .45ACP on moon clips, or if it's original: do you see proof marks on the back of the cylinder? If it's not shaved, it could be worth a small wad of happine$$. If it is shaved, much less so. Last one I saw with un-fugged cylinder was up near $1k, while shaved specimens catch $4-500.
It has not been altered.
My very first Webley revolver that I purchased (I was underaged at the time and so had to have my Mother with me) was a Webley Mark 1 (Marked on the top strap indicating use by the Royal Navy)
I still own it.
The example shown in the pictures appears to be a commercially sold revolver (based on the metal finish and lack of British Military markings).
The Mark 1 comes from the era of black powder revolver cartridges, I would not shoot any modern ammo thru it.
I already made that mistake many, many years ago!
Webleys are very collectible, the grips and that seem to be exceptional as the hard rubber usually shrinks and cracks a chunk where the crosspin fits into them.

Love that pistol. I have a Mark VI that has been shaved, and run .45AR hand loads through it. Very fun shooter.
