    Default Tacticool Arms - Greeley

Has anyone dealt with these guys? I'm looking to have them install a FF rail on an AR for me and was hoping to get a recommendation before playing guinea pig.

I chatted with them the other day. Nice guys but the work you want done is a very easy job.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the difficulty of it, I just don't have a long term use for the tools to do the job.

Jim, I'll see if we can work something out once I get the parts. Thanks for the offer.

I have been using Tacticool Arms for transfers lately and last time I was in there I mentioned I needed to get some engraving done for NFA items. Mike said it was something they were starting to get into but had not actually had someone take them up on their service. I was a little skeptical at first as these are like tattoos for your babies and mine were going to be their guinea pigs. I have say, I was very happy with the way they came out. They were able to meet the depth requirement and were very reasonably priced ($35 each). On the suppressor, they decided to go a little deeper (.005) as I am having them cerakote armors black. I showed them some examples of how I wanted it to look and where I wanted it on each item. They hit it spot on. The turn around time was very quick also. As far as I know, they are the only guys up in NoCo area that actually offer NFA engraving services.

I was in the shop today. I had to do a transfer. It went smoothly. They gave me a discount for being a Veteran. (they asked, I didnt ask for it) My impression is that they are a couple of nice guys. I mean they are Devil Dogs so clearly they are good guys.
I looked around a little. From what I saw, I think the prices were about right. Clearly they are setup for the tactical crowd. ARs, AR accessories, and small parts were the main things I saw. They did have a selection of modern handguns too. I dont think it will be your first stop for bird hunting guns or priceless wood furniture heirlooms.

Stop in, see if you like it.

    My experience was good.

Shit, that's good news if they do engraving. Wasn't aware of any dedicated gun engravers closer to Ft Collins than Denver.
