    Default Bowers really is awesome

A good friend of mine is in the market for an AR. Yesterday after lunch we went over to Bowers. Rob probably spent close to an hour with my friend going over all his options and giving him lots of things to think about. My buddy is a retired cop but left just as the patrol rifle was becoming standard practice. He really had no idea what he should look for and Rob just took his time talking about the various guns available vs a "build to your specs" version. No pressure just a clear concise discussion.

I know my friend will go back when he makes his decision. Oh and I picked up a BladeTech appendix carry holster to try for my Shield when I'm on the scooter. Mike told me if I don't like it to just bring it back-great place and glad it's only 10 minutes away LOL.

I don't think there can be enough said about these guys. I love that store. I wish I had heard of them much sooner than I did. I've bought 99% of my gun tools from them. What really impressed me was the knowledge of not just AR's but other guns. Thanks to these guys I didn't waist my hard earned money on things that wouldn't work as well as I hope. If you need an answer about a gun issue these guys can get you the answer you are looking for. I love the no pressure to buy something attitude. I'm a shopper for life

Who is the newer guy at Bower's? The guy who says he is a former federal officer?

He is a member here. I'll let him tell you who he is if he chooses to do so.

I was in there the other day and talked to the new guy also. Very helpful as he educated me a bit on 300 Blackout since I am going to play that game here soon. Love that place just wish it was closer.

Been there a few times. Wish they were closer but that keeps my wallet happy. Always had good experiences there.

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
