Did the Merchandise Mart ever use the drive-in theater screen in the parking lot for any events?

Maybe the vendors can get a few random booths at the next pot show. Seems turnabout would be fair play.

I wonder if they could do a little more scaled down version. Basically have a guy counting heads at the door and allow up to the max capactiy. One person leaves they let another in. Petition the City / State to have an allowance for a large audience based on sq footage of the building. Maybe extend the show an extra day and longer hours to filter people through. Ask people to limit their time inside to an hour so they can let the next group of people in. It sucks. I don't think it's right but I think we have to do SOMETHING and even if we have to start a little smaller than usual we can get things rolling again. We can't give up.

For the record, I work in the event industry and have been a part of hundreds of events across the country including many in Colorado at various facilities. This isn't unique to Colorado or the gun show industry. It's killing the entire expo and event industry in America equally so while I know many in our local government aren't sad about how it's effecting the gun shows specifically, it is literally EVERY event that's going through the same crap here and we are not being singled out.

Following current hypocritical guidance, I would suspect local decrees that COVID would spread vehemently at any gun show, necessitating prohibition, but NOT at any social justice events.

But they should encourage all gun owners/fans to attend unmasked, and plant to few c19 positive folks in the crowd and kill off all thier opponents with a few coughs...

The Denver Mart has not been able to pay it?s mortgage since last March and has gone in to receivership, they will be closing permanently on March 31st. The buildings are likely to be torn down this spring and the property redeveloped. No more Tanner Gun Shows.. at this location anyway.

An unfortunate but not surprising development, but what about the Pot Show and the Christmas Show?
