Default Another Tanner show, yay lol

Well against better judgement I'm going to hit the show Saturday morning. Just kind of looking around, perhaps something will catch my eye. That happened to me last time I went in February-got a good deal on a limited model S&W 686 2.5" Lew Horton (from Nov. '84) with the original box/papers, factory original Combat grips along with an extra set of Pach grips.

Glad I do not have the time, a couple of shows ago I ended up taking home a Vickers RTF2 FDE Glock. If I saw on of the new Gray Lipseys limited run Gocks I would end up buying it.

I haven't been to a show in years. I don't make impulse buys so it's generally a waste for me.

Got there just after 10, met a guy in the parking lot I sold some of my old motorcycle gear to first. Not a big deal to get a parking spot (north side, when did they put in the drive-in movie screen??!!). No line to get in, stopped by a friend's table, shot the shit for 20 minutes then started wandering.

Good sized crowd though it was easy going up and down the aisles.

I've renewed my interest in S&W wheelies so that's what I mostly was on the lookout for. Met one very nice guy that had a few older Smiths that I appreciated, hope to do business with him next show-it's the only place he sells.

Outside of two guys walking down one aisle that smelled like breweries I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of the great unwashed and thug looking types there.

Mostly plastic fantastic uber tacticool stuff (no surprise frankly), though nothing that really jumped up and yelled for me to take it home.

As far as safes there was one dealer of I think Liberty safes along the north wall. Nice selection though I didn't really look at prices since I'm not in the market.

Overall not a bad way to stay out of the mid-day heat today, my big purchase was a box of .38spl ammo from a friend that gave me a killer deal.

I found some good deals on a nice 10-8 Smith, 39-2 Smith, and Swiss P225 heel mag.

I went. Mostly to meet another member to trade some magazines. Brought $1,000 cash just in case. Went home with all of it. Just didn't see anything I couldn't live without.

Several vendors had Remington Thunderbolt 500 rd. bricks for $30-35 per at the last Tanner show. For anyone looking for it, I would expect there to be quite a bit this weekend.
