Ruger precision Rifle

With my age (51) and failing eyesight, I would just like to have a sub MOA Rifle that can consistently hit at 2-500 yards. I was not able to consistently get that accuracy with my 2 pervious Springfield MIA rifles. I do love the .308 Winchester, and do not need to hit a target at 1,300 yards. From the 3-4 articles I have read, the .308 could be a reasonably priced answer. The 20" barrel concerned me, but I would still bite. I have spent more money for less.
