    You've probably considered it but for $750 you can buy a suitable Stihl 362 Pro saw with 20" bar and fell them yourself. I do a lot of tree felling but last year needed to have 5 large spruces removed from next to the house where several power lines crossed through the yard. It required climbing, limbing and topping them. I hired a friend who has an arborist business in Ward. With two other workers he topped the trees, limbed and cut into fireplace lengths and stacked the slash for $500. Evergreen may be a little farther than he wants to go but you might ask Tom Wheaton at tnttrees.com.

    Check with Root Tree Service, out of Castle Rock. He's a member here, but doesn't post here but VERY infrequently. I'll see if I can remember his forum handle.

    Actually I did pull the trigger on a 362 for cutting other wood. I've been eyeballing those trees and will likely take a run at them at some point. Right now I've come into enough free wood I need to work through I've got my hands full for a little while.
