Lower round counts by a little, a little slower, accuracy more important than speed, more directives as to how to shoot the course, athletic ability less of a factor.

All trigger time is good time. Some people prefer one over the other, but both are still games that enhance your weapon handling and shooting skills.

I've yet to see accuracy win any IDPA matches. Accuracy is great, as long as your raw time is as low as possible.

I just said it is more important in IDPA than USPSA.

If you want to really dismiss accuracy on paper, shoot 3Gun.

That's the one where the fastest shotgun reloader wins right?

Not anymore. Pistol has become more technical and patience on the longer rifle shots. Shotgun loading not as big a deal since we brought TWinS loading to the USA about 4 years ago.

BUT, Kudos to Ray. Exactly the kind of people we need to introduce more people to competitive shooting.

That was true maybe 3 or 4 years ago when only a handful of people could load 8 shells in 6 secs when the average was around 12 secs Or more, with new loading methods even a untrained shooter can get 8 in 8 in a few hours of training. Not a lot of shotgun arrays will need you to load faster then that to get to the next set of targets.

So, had a great time at the match today as usual. Waiting to see the results to see how my strategy of "shoot fast and miss a lot" worked out for me. Lol.

Oh, and I just wanted to thank all of the guys from the forums here who made it out today. Always a good time when you get to shoot with familiar people.

Really glad to see everyone and all be on the same squad.
