    Default Schuetzen rifle?

    Sorry fellas. Probably way off topic, but I thought I'd ask, as it seems many members of this forum shoot many disciplines.

    I'm looking to maybe start a schuetzen league here on the front range, as near as I can tell nobody is doing it. Perhaps widen the area of interest to include any rifle, any style, offhand, 200 yards.

    Any interest at all?

    Yeah, I had to google as well. Interesting... so, Schuetzen is precision single shot shooting using a level action type?... confused.

    Very steeped in tradition and ritual, arguably the roots of precision rifle competition.
    Not my bag but neat nonetheless.

    Colorado Rifle Club (CRC) has a Schuetzen range... not sure how often there's league/competition activity on it though.
