MY FEEDBACK!
Saw a huge male on our property about 9 miles northeast of Kremmling last week.
I wonder how many people have shot a moose in the water like that, then said "oh shit, how am I gonna get it out of there?"
I hear moose is quite tasty. Even my wife says so.
There's a lot more of us ugly mf'ers out here than there are of you pretty people!

We see them every year up in units 16/17/161/171 around Walden- the Moose Capital of the lower 48. Mostly brief views of cows and calves in the deep woods, or feeding in the low marshes, but I've seen bulls once deep in the draws on Owl Mountain and flushed out a young bull one year on the north end of Owl Mountain. We've seen a large herd at distance - probably 1500 yards across the other side of a draw by Johnny Moore.

Up at Long Draw reservoir last week and we saw two bulls and two cows with one calf. The next day in Arapahoe National Wildlife Refuge, just south of Walden two more bulls getting up from where they had bedded down next to the Illinois river. My wife saw another cow up by North Michigan Creek reservoir across the road from our tent. Eight moose within twelve hours; it was the most we have seen in such a short time. I'm hearing they are becoming more frequent in Estes Park so it shouldn't be long before they become more plentiful in Allenspark and Nederland.
We see them up by my place pretty often - not far from Nederland. We had a momma and 2 kiddos in the driveway last fall. So cool.
And hell yeah, moose is tasty!
Never seen one in person. Definitely on the list.
