    Mmmmmm Dim Sum......

My girl at Magpul said the Bottom Metal and Mags should arrive in October.

As to build quality, its seems well made. Typical Magpul feel. Very stiff, pretty lite, you could likely club baby seals to death without scratching it too. It felt a little narrow to me, but the stocks I am used to are Manners/McMillan and Chassis like AICS and XLR. I think it is a great deal for a drop-in. Quick and easy Although if your really are a accuracy nut, a little custom work and bedding compound may help even more. It will probably not fit Bull/M24 type barrels, but varmint & Palma coutours should be fine.

Then go built your own stock.

It sure beats spending $700-$1000 on a kit for a first timer. And since you haven't actually seen or held one, your lack of impression doesn't mean much.

But would it have been that hard for them to simply put out a lefty version at release?

Probably would be tedious, but not hard. They would need to take a reversal of molds, some new tooling set-ups, etc... Not usually as simple as just flipping a switch. If there's not a major market for something, most name brand manufacturers won't waste the time for it. That's what the smaller start-ups, etc usually excel in, making the niche products. Just my two cents.

All comes down to economics . Molds are very expensive and regardless of how you feel about it the demand for left handed product is tiny . Simple return on investment numbers .

Welcome to the left handed firearms world . Been dealing with it for 40 years now and its never been better than now for availability of LH product .
