I think I understand now, thanks. Is the dirt road off of 67 called 343?

I'll stop buying black rifles when my wife stops buying black shoes.
Affirmative, sir. You will see some of those flexible plastic/fiberglass forestry signs marking the road. when you first pull in at about 100 yds the road bifurcates with the right side going the 2 berms. If you continue just past he farthest berm the road loops around and bifurcates again. Take the right side up to the next bifurcation. This is right at 300 yds. You will be able to shoot offhand or sitting but not prone or bench as you are actually on the road. This will all make much more sense when you are actually there.
give us a report on conditions etc when you get back.

What would we do with out overhead imagery
Google and Yahoo don't have the forest roads marked, is there a good resource for that? Also, besides postings on the land, is there a map that shows private land?
Thanks!

My wife and I will be at the South Site early a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday). If you come out then come and introduce yourself.

An additional mapping resource lies at http://ndis.nrel.colostate.edu
It's primarily for vewing the range of animals for hunting, but also shows the forest roads on a topo map. It's another resource.

Looks like a very good day.
The M1As are great rifles.
Good to know that there isnt bulky trash
Assault is a type of behavior, not a type of hardware.
I might be at the South site this Saturday afternoon to break in my new AR15 (I'm picking it up today!) if the weather holds out!
