    Default Dishwasher help

Looking for somebody to help me diagnose my dishwasher.

    kenmore 665.13743k602

ive replaced the thermal fuse, same results.

wife said it was dead, tore into it and researched. Thermal fuse. So I disconnected and reconnected. It runs the drain pump for 2 minutes. At 1 minute in, the "washing" light is illuminated but kind of faint. It's 7 years old though so at least it lights up. Then after another minute, light and pump turn off, and whole thing is dead.
no lights on control panel light up, buttons don't work, nada. I've messed with the door prox switches, cleaned out the bottom from gunk, pulled it out and disconnected and reconnected every electrical fitting. No burnt areas on the panel.

any thoughts or recommendations appreciated. I don't want to dump money in this thing, we are planning on moving in under a year and don't plan on taking these appliances with us. Worst case is I get another SS cheapo dishwasher and I can install myself easily. But it would be nice to just fix this one and call it good.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

Possibly a bad heating element tripping the circuit Buy another one.
Having a working dishwasher is much cheaper than listening to the spouse reminding you IT'S NOT WORKING, AGAIN. .

That really is the root of the problem...and the root of any person having to own a dishwasher is some lazy wife started this whole thing of needing a dishwasher and next thing you know they all wanted one!

We have a dead one too. I replace the thermal fuse half a dozen times. had a repaireman out twice, had more invested in repairs that the washer cost initially.POS. Money is tight so we just got used to doing them by hand. Someday when we're flush we'll try another one.
My advice would be mot tp put money into a problem machine. We had the circuit board replaced and then the pump and it was still popping fuses and that's when we gave up.
