Default Remington 700 BDL pics (lots)

Here's some photos I just took of the 7mm left hand 700 from May 1976. One ding on the stock, left side at the foreward checkering. Some kind of residue at the ejection port. One mark on the bottom of the floorplate. Has the plug screws where the sights (none) mount, very clean bolt face, beautiful bore. Barrel and receiver blue in excellent condition. The scope is a Bushnell 3x9, Banner model, waterproof (nominal value I believe). Serial number is A6304XXX. Barrel code KI.

Any help with a fair value is greatly appreciated.

I like the bolt being on the wrong side. Nice stock. How does it shoot?

No idea, it belonged to a friend that passed away a little over 3 years ago. I doubt he put 20 rounds through it in all the years he had it. His widow has asked me to sell it for her, trying to determine a fair value. I've found one other for sale with what I believe is a higher value scope for $1k. I also believe that other rifle has been available for some time. I'm thinking this is worth between $650-$675, if anyone has better information on pricing I'd greatly appreciate the input. Thanks.

I think you are in the ballpark with that price. Start there and come down to about $600. Blue book puts it at $550 for 95%, add for 7mm, and left hand. Scope isn't really figured in on a cheaper scope like that to be honest. For most people at least.

In my experience LH rifles are a much harder sell and usually go for a song.
No real demand unless you get the one southpaw that just has to have it.
    Nice rifle Doc
