Interesting way to store items in a flashlight.

They are not baffles until a hole is drilled through them. But just give it some time and some internet warrior will write a letter to the ATF and these guys will get theirs.

Alright so is the concept here buy a Mag-light, buy these storage cups, drill them out to create baffles and then manufacture your own endcaps to use the flashlight body as a suppressor? if so what is the reference to "freeze plugs"? After obtaining the appropriate tax stamp of course.

Basically, there are certain size of freeze plugs that can fit (with some modification) into a 1.35" ID tube (the ID of a d cell maglite) Many enterprising individuals and companies are now providing materials and directions that help to make a Form 1 suppressor to be a relatively simple affair for even a novice handyman.

Other references include companies like SD tactical, Preppers Discount, Diversified Machining, among the ebay and amazon companies. A simple search of "solvent trap" and "Freeze plug suppressor" on a search engine will provide a wealth of information.

I had seen the references to solvent traps (Caps to screw on oil filters, soda bottles etc...) and was familiar with them. I had even seen them being sold at the gun show a couple of years ago.
