    Default Kansas Pheasant

We went out to Kansas around Goodland up to St. Francis all on public land and the five of us got ten birds we had a real good time. We ran into a person who was mentally unstable and we did not know it until we got off are first field were we were met by two Kansas wildlife officers and four sheriffs from the county we were in, they said she had called the sheriff to report us for hunting on public walk in access land they told us that she had said that she was going to shoot us for flying helicopters over her house. Well after some great jokes with the good officers they closed that area and will be charging her with harassment of hunters and they asked us to be escorted out past her home for are safety. We did get two birds out of that field. I got to say the Kansas birds are a bit more crafty they will stay on the ground longer and run out of the end of the fields unless the blockers are close.

Glad to hear that about Kansas pheasants. Their numbers are up as well.
