My (dog's) first deer

This is an older picture of my German shepherd, Keuma. We had to put him down last year due to health issues. This picture was taken after he managed to get out of his dog run and took down a deer. He was the most gentle and patient dog with my 5 kids and I had a hard time believing he did the deed but our neighbor at the time said that he saw Keuma take the deer down. He was soaked with blood and it took forever to clean him up. I had to go to court and pay a heavy fee but I'm glad I have the memories.

That picture is great. Even soaking wet in the tub, his face is saying "That was so worth it!".

The look on his face was really funny, it was pure joy mixed with a little bit of "I'm sorry ears."
This was a one time thing. Sorry, the title is a little misleading. First and last.

My Shepherd is the same way. Wouldn't hurt anyone but some animals really light up the predator in her eyes.
