Default U-Joint Tool: Anyone got one I can borrow Monday/Tuesday?

I'm replacing some u-joints and the tool sure makes it easier. Anyone on the west side of Denver/Golden have one I can use for a few days?

C clamp and socket as mentioned, OR a vice and socket. Another way is some PB blaster or other good penetrating oil, let sit a few. Then support the end of shaft on a 4 x 4 or other solid block of wood. Take a beat up socket or good drift punch and drop a few blows to one of the cups. Continue till cups are popped . UNless you happen to have a 2-3-5+ Ton press.

Or rent the tool, which is basically a c-clamp.

As mentioned, vise grips and a socket, "C" clamp and a socket or in a pinch, 2# single jack and a socket.

Thanks guys. Looks like I might get my hands on one here locally.

I don't mind smacking them out with a socket and hammer (did that today) but thought I'd try to be a little more refined and use the right tool for install.

I worked in an Alfa Romeo shop way back and this old Italian guy used to hang around and BS with us. He used to say "Ya know they don't allow hammers in Japanese shops." I know he was FOS, but I always think of that guy when I'm tempted to "persuade" something my way.
