The cheap walmart cans vent and will evaporate your gas. I've gone to nato type cans. But you can use liquid gasket on the cheap cans

Huh. I've had 6 of these in a 10x10 shed for over a year and never noticed one hint of gas fumes. Haven't had any problems with the gas itself either. Maybe it's because I almost never gets over 85 degrees up here? Maybe if they get hot they vent?

Everyone says this, but I have had the same gas in the truck for years and it still runs fine with no additives (its not one of those crossfit toyotas though). I always have a dozen gas cans full here at my house. I dont add any additive to them since I rotate them out every couple months anyway. I have a gas tractor, multiple pieces of equipment, 4 wheelers etc that take gas.

If you are going to dump them in your truck every few months, I wouldnt add anything.

i agree. I keep 20 gallons on hand too and use stabil and when I remember to. Just changed my 9-11 month stash out into my work truck,,, It still did 70 while loaded no problem, also still got 10mpg,,, No proplem!

It's an awesome time to stock up. I have 30 gallons that I got at a "good" price of $2.50 or so a gallon. Rotating it into the vehicles feels weird, like I'm using more expensive gas. Yeah, I'm retarded.

i saw $1.31 for 87 in Minneapolis this weekend. cheapest i've seen it in denver is $1.45

I keep 15-20 gallons of gas (enough to almost double my mileage with my truck just in case). I rotate using in lawn mower and now my new wood chipper. When we purchase gift cards for Christmas gifts and get fuel points I will rotate through my truck at that time to refresh the stash.

During the warm months i run recycled fuel. 80% wmo (sometimes wvo) 20% regular unleaded. My cost is about 33 cents a gallon currently i could cut it but my generator is down so i have to use the extension cord to run my filtration. Diesel is about $1.70 right now.
