My wife got me a newish laptop...with Windows 8. I'd almost rather have a second mother in law.

• Macbook Pro for the music/video.

• Aune T1 tube DAC (digital audio converter). USB connection from the laptop. Better sound quality then the headphone port.
• Yamaha C-810 integrated amp. 1979 vintage solid state. Warm sound and excellent clarity, even at higher volumes.

Not sure if I will add a phonograph.

Gotta find a decent amp for @ $300. I'm going to look at Yamaha amps on Amazon.

I spoiled myself but good. MKE Zenith Z-5RS 9mm. It's not HK, but it's not $3k+, either. Picked it up Christmas Eve, Form 1'd it Christmas Morning. This has pretty much been my dream gun since I started liking guns... blame Ding Chavez in Clear & Present Danger. Now I'm on the hunt for a Gemtech MK9K
