Meadowlark Lemon passed.

Lifelong memory, sitting center court at McNicols arena 1977 and being part of the water/confetti gag. My dad jumping up and running behind the Globe Trotters bench to avoid getting bucket of water thrown on him. Which of course turned out to be confetti.

I saw them a couple of times, as a kid. Sad to hear he is gone.

2x at the garden in NYC. My only issue was the team they played against sucked. never beat the HGT, Never.

Never saw him other than on TV. What a great athlete and entertainer.

Saw the HGT in person as a kid in the early '70s, including Meadowlark. That was something you don't forget. RIP Meadowlark.
