Wow...
The majority of these posts were not what I was expecting. Breaks my heart.
I pray for peace in all hearts, open eyes, open minds, and the ability to see the real enemy.

I'd love to believe that the hatred of Islam was nothing more than simple close mindedness on the part of "dumb bubbas in the west" ... but you read their Qu'ran and Hadiths and look at the example of their Prophet and you will realize that the absence of peace, closed eyes and closed minds are in the Madrassas and Mosques, not here. Then you'll see who the real enemy is.
Islam creates a huge problem for a pluralistic and tolerant west. It puts us in the position where we have to choose between the higher ideals of tolerance that western civilization is frankly built upon, and simple survival. The problem is that some people just simply can't be "gotten along with". Nothing wrong with lamenting that we're forced into this position, but in your quest to maintain those higher ideals of western civilization, don't fall int to the politically correct trap of cultural self hatred.
I don't like this any more than you do.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".
