What to do with a Raspberry Pi
So my brother sent me a Raspberry Pi B+.
I was originally thinking I'd build a RasPlex box with it but really don't need one since my Rokus work just fine.
I just want to find a good basic project to make with it that will not require the purchase of too many other items.
One idea I was considering is building a MAME box with it.
Anyone have some suggestions?

I have wondered if one could be used to make a LR scoring system. Point a camera at a target, shooter A fires and gets a score, then shooter B, etc. Live scoring of far targets if you will. I know there are other systems out there, but in my limited computer knowledge, it seems like a worthwhile thing to try.
I have been considering a home theater setup, and was JUST thinking about whether or not a raspberry pi would work... looks like I have some reading to do!

I'm finally doing this project. Bought my Pi, in the process is setting it up. I'm going to use it primarily as a retro video game emulator.

I used my PIs and some OTC IR sensors to make command proximity anti-personnel defenses. Surprisingly easy. USB wifi rulez!
