Want to shoot Steel - Trinidad / Raton

Heading to Albuquerque on Monday the 25th and returning Friday the 29th and these day are open to shoot.
I can be at the CO/NM border area, or anywhere along this I25 path, anytime to allow a window to shoot.
Looking for a good place to set up my steel targets out to 1000 yards.
If it's a secret spot then meet me and come shooting on one or both days.

Just stop at the NRA Whittington Center near Raton.

Went to Wittington and nobody there on the silhouette range. A few hours shooting and on my way south. I'll stop by Friday when I head back up to Colorado if anyone wants to join me.

I was there for a bit on Saturday - had the entire range to ourselves.
There was one other guy over at Black Powder, but I believe the rest of the ranges were empty.
Weather can be great down there this time of year.
