I've never used the paddle release, and had avoided it for years because I was shooting A LOT with the M&P and didn't want to swap over my technique. But now I hardly shoot much so swapping over to a paddle and ramping up my training would be pretty easy. My buddy has the PPQ M2 I can take to the range and rent a VP9 to compare it to.
