    Default Anyone SBR a 10/22?

So, anyone SBR their 10/22 (rifle, charger, take down, whatever)?

I'm to the point of seriously considering SBR'ing my take down charger. Why you ask? Because I can...

Why not. BUT.......... try using a sig or other type brace on a different chassis before hand. After looking at some well done SBR'd chargers, it's something that's been put in the why not bin.

I've looked at a few of those on the "other" website. I agree to the why not bin. It is an avenue I will probably pursue. Ultimately I'm exploring the idea of a Charger being my do all 10/22...

It's my understanding that the Charger barrel end will fit the Takedown rear end with no modifications needed.

That is the route I will likely take. Buy a black full size take down and a black charger. SBR the rifle and throw the charger front end on it.

I already have the TD rifle and the TD Charger, can't try the swap until I've got the tax stamp....tempting though But this is the train of thought I'm on. Maybe buy a used TD rifle stock when approved and stick it on the SBR'd TD Charger.

So, after all is said and done you don't shoot it much? Would have rather spent the stamp money on something else?

    Looks like fun either way!

I wish I'd stamped an AR lower instead. Multiple directions to go with one of those.

Indaresting, Been mulling a 10/22 sbr of some sort. Having a few SBR'd AR's it does make sense.
