Yes it does!
It cooks it perfect every time. Depending on the amount, it's twice as fast as Traditional smokers/cookers are & use a bag and a half of charcoal.I use a digital meat thermometer to make sure it cooked through and maintain the coals, your good to go.
I have found , if cooking a whole pig, start belly up then flip. Usually 2 hours or less a side depending on size.
