    Default any dove hunters?

Any one know of a good place to hunt doves? My cousin came from new mexico wants to hunt dove. I have never done any type of bird hunting my self so I'm clueless. If some one can recommend a good area with directions that would be great. I seen a few places where you can go for 100-200$ a day I don't really want to pay to go shoot birds where more than likely I'm not going to hit any, I'm not a great shot when it comes to shooting clays flying through the air. My cousin on the other hand he is a great shot so I'm hoping to learn a little. Getting off subject any help finding a spot to go would be great. Again if you can please provide directions as well if possible.

You have a while to find a place, season doesn't open until September 1.

Most public lands are OK the first week or so.

Eurasian Collared Doves can be hunted year round and there is no limit. Personally I have only seen them in populated areas.

Same here. Sometimes see them when out hunting, but never enough to really make it worth your time to hunt specifically the Eurasian doves.

Those Eurasian doves really like my bird feeder! I could fill my freezer with my pellet rifle, right from the kitchen window. But the neighborhood yuppies would shit down both legs.....
