A friend and I set up some crappy targets along a dried creek bed, and we're shooting when who flies into the middle of the lane about 15ft away than a turkey! Luckily, my friend and I weren't completely stupid so we just laughed and tried to shoo it away (there were also cows mingling around). About a month later, a truck pulled up as we were shooting again. The driver knew the owner of the land and warned us off politely but firmly.
I've had deer walk on the berm and then down in the firing lanes at an established range. They keep looking around wondering what all the noise was about. Was only a few people there, but they didn't seem to mind at all.
