I'll cast my vote on this poll, but I'll be really REALLY surprised if a darn thing comes of it. After all, just a few short years ago, our wildlife division got combined with parks and we all no one was in the red and one was in the black with money, so now more money will have to come from hunting/hunters to make it all balance out and one way to do that, is bring in more non-resident money. Sad reality.
What's sad is seeing the cattle grazing at higher and higher elevations, driving the game away.

As I understand the issue from locals in the know where we hunt (GMU 6/16/161/171), that's a direct result of combining parks/rec and DOW and the need to raise more money.

Bumping this thread again. Looks like petition only made it 3/5 of the way to the needed number. Won't hurt to circulate this one more time.

Sounds like the sponsor isn't getting the draw tags he wants. He's not the only one. What's going to happen when all the licenses double in price next year?

Paying half, getting your animal, enjoying your experience with less hassle and knowing you are working with a fish and game departments that have a clue how to manage there states wildlife and public land. Knowing that the departments are working for the people not for land lease companies.I love, we hunters and fishers are paying for the every weekend search and rescue of dozens of people while the average forest service users pay nothing even for there rescue and wont stay the trail, let themselves and there dogs crap every where and never pack out what they pack in. They need to go hard after the hunters that don't fallow the reg's go after the unlicensed fisher walking on the spawn grounds during the spawn and using bate in gold medal water, and the ass hats that refuse to stay on the trails with there four wheelers large and small. Do not hug a hunter or a fisherman because I will tell you to get off are land or pay your share to be there. Eat what you hunt, hunt what you eat. Use barbless hooks in catch and release areas and learn to handle fish you aren't keeping . Sorry rant over.
