Reaper Precision in Fort Collins does great work. Talk to Brett.

How durable is hydrodip and what is the cost for say a scope and a handguard?

I think I was at around $280 for the scope, handguard, upper/lower and cerokating the scope base.
Haven't shot it yet so have now idea on durability. It's suppose to be as durable as automotive paint.

I have several firearms coated previously before moving to CO. My experience has been the following, listed most durable to least.
Cerakote
Hydrodip and Duracoat
Krylon
My preference is Cerakote, but its expensive when you go for a complex pattern like Kryptek / Multicam due to the multiple colors and stencils. I'm willing to accept less wear resistance to get some gucciflage.

Thanks for the recommendations. Looks like I'll be making a trip up to Fort Collins later this week.
