That is true! That one was a custom finish, the normal battle ready war train I think was only in the $400ish range, much more reasonable. The pricing is a bit rediculous, but most of the people I know who have had them, swear by them. And to boot they have an unlimited life-time warranty. $500 is a lot to spend on a knife, but if you only have to buy it once it might be worth it!
