Has anyone heard of this place? I guess it just opened this past weekend near I25 & US34

The owner of the company I work for went out there for the grand opening and got a corporate membership. I'll get to check it out one of these days, but it's an hour from work and an hour from home. Plenty of lanes of different lengths. Should be a good place to go in the winter time.

$25 per hr for those not members. However it's a No Reservations, members have first choice for range time.

Wow! Very nice and membership prices are nice. I was concerned that it wasn't membership only but there's enough lanes that w/ membership priority, it shouldn't be much of an issue.

Really? Where have you shot / belonged that they were pricier? $770 the 1st year then $420 annually after that, per person / individual.

They jacked their prices too. Makes it tough for people to get some time behind the trigger.

Stopped in for a visit and to do some shooting on Friday. HUGE facility. The retail section is gigantic and they have a lot of nice inventory. Prices seemed on par with other retail places. Their firearm inventory is extensive.
Spent about 45 min on the pistol range. A few observations. You check in at the front door of the whole complex. It's almost feels like you are checking in at a hotel lobby. The gals up front were nice. If it's your first time there, you have to fill out an information packet. This is also for a background check. Yep, every shooter needs to have a background check done. The fee is added to your range fee. Next you get to watch a safety video in the lobby. About 10 minutes. After that, you head to the range area.
Check in, get a lanyard with your stall number on it and head inside the shooting area. The pistol ranges are nice, but lacking in a few areas. The target carriers are extremely basic. They simply go out and back. No turning or dynamic programs or options. They don't use a cardboard backing, just a flimsy cardboard piece that is hooked to the carrier. Makes it a bit tough to hook a uspsa/idpa paper target to it. The carrier is too narrow. The paper targets also have to hang really low so your shots don't hit the upper portion of the bullet trap. The RO made me lower my target to the point I felt as if I were practicing shooting midgets. The head of the uspsa target was about mid chest high. The paper targets also move a lot when shooting at 5 yds or closer. The muzzle blast causes the paper to flail and it's annoying. They allow drawing from the holster OWB if you have them test and certify you. IWB draw is only allowed if you take one of their classes. That was a big bummer as I don't carry OWB. The range officers keep a really tight eye on the shooters who are new to the range. Really close eye like they are right behind you at all times. It got a bit annoying, but it is also a safety thing. The pistol range itself is nice, clean and comfortable, but I feel they could use more lighting in the stalls. Was a bit dark and fiber optic front sights were not really showing at all.
We were there at 1;00 on a Friday and were the only ones shooting pistol. They have 2 pistol ranges and were were the only 2 shooting. There was one person shooting rifle in the rifle range. After shooting we headed to the retail section and spent about 30 min browsing around. In that time, there was only one other person who came in to look around.
Staff were all very friendly. We saw a few patrons mulling about in other areas and that was it. They sunk a TON of money into the place and I hope it makes it. A little google research reveals who the owners are and they are hardly hurting for money, so I'm assuming even if the revenues are not there, it would still stay open for tax write offs.
It's an impressive facility, just lacking a few details I am used to at other indoor ranges.
