Build a basic web store, host it as cheap and reliably as possible, sign up for both Amazon and EBay as a seller. Your website won't see nearly as much traffic as your listings on Amazon and EBay.

The website can be as cheap or expensive as you want. You want to make it simple and obvious to navigate and easy for people to purchase, especially giving totals for shipping and tax before you actually sign up.

At the end of the day most people won't care about your website as much as they do the price of what their buying.

Edit: Look into Square. They are a CC processor that offers A LOT more. Once you're set up taking CC, you can build a store site using their templates and hosting. They now offer payroll services as well. It's where I would start and IF I saw a need, I would then build a separate, stand alone website using what I've learned from the Square site. Square also does a very good job of tracking sales and trends and provides all kinds of graphs and such to help you understand your customer's habits.
