Came home to a couple of weird bugs today. This one looks like a circuit so it's probably a government bug.
This one was on the doorway as I walked in and it tried to reach for me when I passed by.

Here is a mantis eating what I think is another mantis. Pictures aren't great because I was in a hurry. I originally thought it was eating a leaf and knocked it out of its grasp. This first picture is after I apologized and politely gave the meal back.

I always make a big pile of those molt casings & give them to kids. When I do I tell them that a crayfish mated with a dragonfly. They usually believe me too. Silly kids.Originally Posted by Irving

Had to evict this guy this morning, his condo got buried in the infill to finsh grade for drainage before deck goes in.
Not the biggest but front runner for ugliest we have found out here.
Nice! I heard that it is the Oklahoma Spider migration in South East Colorado this month, so apparently thousands of those will be crawling around looking for mates in SE Co.
My daughter just got a Pink-toed tarantula for her birthday yesterday.
Here it is, and her holding it. She went in and held it by herself with zero encouragement from me.
