Our broad-tailed population has exploded in the past two weeks. There's one or two rufous around now but they usually pass through quickly (by far the most aggressive hummers). Don't think I've ever seen a calliope or black-chinned here. I'm refilling almost one gallon of nectar per day now.

Came home to a couple of weird bugs today. This one looks like a circuit so it's probably a government bug.
This one was on the doorway as I walked in and it tried to reach for me when I passed by.

Here is a mantis eating what I think is another mantis. Pictures aren't great because I was in a hurry. I originally thought it was eating a leaf and knocked it out of its grasp. This first picture is after I apologized and politely gave the meal back.
