I am the VP for RGG&P club. To answer some of your questions, I'll start with the sponsor. Don,t worry about it. Fill out paperwork and mail in, when approved, you'll be asked to go to Lincoln Park Pawn Shop to pick up and sign for your gate card. We now have a electronic gate that works off of a card reader. It keeps most of the idiots out. We do have steel set up for long range shooting and we will take any donated steel for additional targets. Fridays are long range days. LR shooters have priority. If there is someone shooting at the main firing line when you get there, they have 1 hour to continue shooting, then they are required to stop and turn over control to the LR shooters. We do allow guests, but they have to be accompanied by the member. Gate card replacement costs 25.00, and this has stopped most of the unauthorized people from learning the gate combination and using the range whenever they want.
