Default Believe it or not, I need someone with a drone...

Anyone around Colorado Springs have a drone and are good with flying it? I need to run a ham radio antenna wire across the top of some trees, but need to make a 90 degree turn halfway through. I figure someone with a drone can knock it out real quick for me...

Damn, something I could do with mine, but I'm a bit far north.

Antenna wire cant be light, you're going to need a sizeable multirotor, unless its possible to do with pull string. I have a fairly large quadcopter, that is pretty overpowered and it only has a payload of about 5 or 6 lbs.

It's about 130 feet of maybe #16 wire, with an egg insulator on the end that isn't too big. If not able to be directly carried, I was figuring on using the strongest fishing line I could get and one the line is ran, I'd connect to the end of the antenna and hope it can be pulled all the way through in one shot!

Shows what I have to do. The green line is the antenna run, the red lines are power lines along the alley. If it wasn't for that, I could have just crossbow'd it, but even if I was to do fishing line, I just don't want anything to touch power and it would have to.

You planning on just resting the wire in the tree or what?
