F-150 Remote Start Install

I have , I work for Ford in in the springs- what year is it? The newer ones 15 and up are pretty easy- plug and play if you will, but you will need the Ford scantool to program it.The older ones are hardwire and are a pita, also need the scantool as well.

It is a 2014...from what I understand the plug-n-play install takes about ten minutes...then the fun begins with having a dealer cut the new key and program the new remote for the start.

Do you have a wifi or bluetooth OBD2 reader? With Forscan, you can get past the dealer requirement for the key.

I know someone who can do the programming and cut the key, that is if you can make it to the Springs
Be careful what you get off ebay- I had a lot of customers come in with those with dead keys that wouldn't program.
